The Reformation wasn't the work of only one man. Admittedly, Martin Luther functions as the key figure, whose life was tightly connected to the movement, the Reformation was, however, pushed forward by many people. Luther himself wasn’t just dependent on the support and the organizational talents of his friends, confidantes and allies, but he also had to be able to rely on their advice. Without these people, the ideas and content of the Reformation wouldn’t have spread so fast and so widely.
