The reformers Martin Luther and Philipp Melanchthon traveled a lot during their lives and left their traces at many places. At some times those are quite obvious, at others their visits did not last that long. Wherever Luther spoke, sat down, ate or slept he is being remembered today. Protestant churches proudly present their individual connection to the famous reformer from their long history. Town halls try to tell the stories about the man who translated the Bible and palaces and castles present their rooms that once accommodated this rather pugnacious person.
