Lucas Cranach the Younger celebrates his 500th birthday!

Saxony-Anhalt celebrates the 500th Birthday of Lucas Cranach the Younger with the State Exhibition “Cranach the Younger 2015” from 26 June to 1 November 2015. It is the first worldwide exhibition, which dedicates itself to the life and work of the master. At original locations the exhibition organizers in Lutherstadt Wittenberg, in Dessau and Wörlitz present the most important and most valuable works of art of the German Renaissance in a great exposition.
