Women's Meal

"Women's Meals" shall renew the religions. Only the waiters are male. In Düsseldorf, around 80 women have met for a "Rhenish Women's Meal". In the tradition of the Reformation, they talked about the future of church and religion over a festive meal.
The inspired conversations at the table in Luther's house were the model for the Marburg Women's Meal, a gathering of 150 woman from Christian churches and other religions on October 30th, the evening before Reformation Day.
Women were soon enthusiastic about the ideas of the Reformation. For them, the priesthood of all who were baptised became the basis and justification for becoming active in the movement. When the Reformation anniversary is celebrated in 2017, it is also about 500 years of inspiring ideas by women Protestants.
