It was possible to acquire a statue for the new permanent exhibition in the museum complex of the house where Luther died in Eisleben. It will become one of the main exhibits.

Die Händel-Festspiele in Halle (Saale), der Geburtsstadt des Komponisten Georg Friedrich Händel, stehen 2012 unter dem Motto "Reformation und Musik". Geplant sind mehr als 100 Veranstaltungen, darunter die thematische Reihe "Händel und die Konfessionen", und ein umfangreiches Rahmenprogramm. Schirmherrin der Festspiele ist Margot Käßmann, Botschafterin des Rates der EKD für das Reformationsjubiläum 2017.
