On the Luther Way: Reformation history, experienced on foot

New "Centre of Baptism" in the church where Luther was baptised in Eisleben
Next to the baptismal font, which was reconstructed according to the style of Luther's time, a large modern font has been integrated into the floor. In the newly renovated Church of St. Peter and St. Paul in Eisleben, where Luther was baptised, the architectural concept emphasises the different aspects of baptism during the course of the centuries. After more than one year of renovation and redesign, the church is re-opened as a "Centre of Baptism". The opening program will last for several days; its highlight is a festive church service on April 29th with the former chairwoman of the Evangelical Church in Germany, Margot Käßmann.
